SeljalandsfossSeljalandsfoss waterfall is one of Iceland's most stunning natural attractions. It is located along the South Coast and about a two-hour drive from Reykjavik. A pathway allows visitors to walk behind the cascading water, making it a favourite spot among photographers.
-
SkogafossSkógafoss is one of Iceland’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls, with an astounding width of 25 meters (82 feet) and a drop of 60 meters (197 feet). It appeared in the first episode of season 8 of Game of Thrones. In this episode, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen ride dragons and land next to a set of stunning two-stage cascades of waterfalls. Skogafoss was part of it, and the other waterfalls and rock formations were added digitally.
-
Solheimajokull GlacierSolheimajokull is an outlet glacier of the mighty icecap of Myrdalsjokull on the South Coast of Iceland. It is shrinking rapidly. A glacier lagoon at its base reveals how quickly it is receding: the length of an Olympic swimming pool every year. In this tour, we take a short hike to the viewing point and back, but as it is a private tour, you can always stay a bit longer if you want.
-
Reynisfjara BeachReynisfjara is a world-famous black-sand beach on Iceland's South Coast. It features basalt columns and the dramatic Reynisdrangar sea stacks. It's beside Vik i Myrdal, the southernmost village on the mainland.
-
DyrholaeyThe Dyrhólaey Peninsula is a 120-metre promenade famed for its staggering views of Iceland’s South Coast, historic lighthouse, and wealth of birdlife. It is also home to a rock arch of the same name.
-
VikVik í Myrdal, or just Vik, is the southernmost village on the Icelandic mainland, located 110 miles (186 kilometres) from the capital, Reykjavik. It is one of Iceland´s most beautiful villages, a wonderful place to stop and recharge and take your time.
