Aktau MountainsAktau is a unique landscape, the bottom of the ancient sea, which once filled the Ili basin. As the marine disappearance, gorges, steep canyons were created by nature. The main canyons are located in three main logs, which are extended for 5 kilometers. Due to the bizarre forms of gorges and canyons, the mountain becomes a labyrinth. It resembles the surface of the red planet - Mars. From afar, its hills resemble columns and towers. The unusual relief is the result of erosion that took place over several million years.
