- In 1808 St. Augustine’s residents erected the pillars of the City Gate using coquina blocks. (Some say it was a way to keep pirates out.) Our guide goes into the history of how and why the gate still stands today. A much overlooked piece of Augustine history! (pass by)
- On our tour we pass by many iconic landmarks, shops and museums. Here, while we do not go in, our guide can help book tickets for after your tour and we dive into the history of the pirate history in the area. (pass by)
