Summer and fall wildlife sunrise safari from Jackson Hole
Overview
Sunrise in Grand Teton National Park is a magnificent sight. The light and color in the valley are perfect for photography and the animals are most active at dawn and dusk, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures.
This 4-5 hour wildlife safari will get you into the park at the perfect time to witness the wildlife waking up and the sunshine hitting the Tetons. Begin the day with a stop at a local coffee roaster for freshly roasted coffee and pastries. Then, head out in search of animals in Jackson, The National Elk Refuge, and Grand Teton National Park. Throughout these areas, you can spot many animals including grizzly bears, black bears, elk, bison, moose, wolves, bighorn sheep, mule deer, coyote, trumpeter swan and golden and bald eagles.
