We climb as a group on multiple trees, between 100 and 200 feet high on a mix of rare old-growth trees and 2nd growth trees. Depending on the group and the climbers' ability, you will ascend one to 4 trees. Climbing 20 stories up in Coastal Douglas Fir Trees offers a shocking perspective and views few have ever seen. Spectacular views of mountains, wildlife, and ocean await you at the top of the canopy.
No experience necessary must be 8 years or older.
Learn how to climb up really big trees with ascenders until you reach the branches. Then you can branch climb to the top of the canopy! The ascender technique is similar to doing squats.
Since we will be climbing at night, dress warmly and wear athletic clothes, long pants that cover ankles, and athletic shoes. It is a good idea to also wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. All other equipment will be provided.
