Meeting point
We meet at the entrance of the Origin Hotel Red Rocks and carpool from there to the trailhead. We encourage hikers to provide their own transportation, but we are able to drive if you don't have a vehicle. If you arrive early we recommend visiting Launch Espresso across the street.

We will meet at the entrance of the Origin Hotel Red Rocks and carpool to a hiking trail 30 minutes away. Feel free to arrive early to enjoy a meal at their restaurant or go across the street to Launch espresso for delicious coffee drinks.
- Pass by an area called Dinosaur Ridge where dinosaur fossils have been found. (pass by)
- We will pass by the entrance of Red Rocks Amphitheater and you can see it in the distance. (pass by)
- Pass through the town of Morrison. Hikers can go to dinner here after the hike if you have your own transportation. (pass by)

Rocky MountainsWe'll drive through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and go deeper into the Rocky Mountains for the sunset hike. Please note this is the Rocky Mountains but not Rocky Mountain National Park (which is in Estes Park). We'll hike for 1.5-2 hours in the Rocky mountains while the sun sets. See tour overview for additional details.
