  • Ta Van Village
Nestled in the heart of Muong Hoa Valley, Tả Van is home to the Dzay ethnic minority. The village is surrounded by terraced rice fields and mountains, offering stunning views of Sapa’s countryside. Travelers can witness traditional wooden stilt houses, learn about local farming techniques, and experience the warm hospitality of the Dzay people. It’s the perfect starting point for an authentic trekking journey.
  • Giang Ta Chai Village
Located deeper in the valley, Giàng Tả Chải belongs to the Red Dao ethnic group, known for their vibrant red headscarves and embroidered clothing. Visitors can explore traditional herbal medicine practices, see women handcrafting textiles, and enjoy breathtaking landscapes of waterfalls, forest paths, and rice terraces. This village offers a rich cultural encounter with one of Sapa’s most colorful communities.
  • A highlight of the trek is the walk through the bamboo forest, where towering bamboo trees create a peaceful, shaded pathway. The forest provides a cool contrast to the open rice terraces and is a photographer’s dream with its lush greenery. It’s also a great spot to rest and enjoy the natural beauty of Sapa away from the crowds.
  • Su Pan
Perched on the hillside, Su Pan is a small Hmong village overlooking Muong Hoa Valley. From here, travelers are rewarded with panoramic views of the rice terraces, mountains, and winding rivers below. The village maintains a traditional lifestyle, with opportunities to observe local farming, handicrafts, and daily activities. It’s a scenic and cultural finale to the trekking journey.
