Camps BayAfter exploring Table Mountain, we’ll take a scenic drive along the stunning Atlantic Seaboard. With mountains on one side and the vast ocean on the other, our first stop will be at Camps Bay. We’ll pause at Maiden’s Cove the perfect spot to stretch your legs and snap some amazing photos of the beach, the sparkling ocean, and the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range.
- From there, we’ll continue along the coast, passing through the peaceful village of Llandudno, a hidden gem that feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. Duiker IslandDuring this stop at Hout Bay Harbour, you have the optional chance to take a 45 minute boat trip to Duiker Island, where you can view over 5,000 Cape fur seals in their natural environment. The scenic journey keeps you on the boat the entire time, as the vessel does not dock at the island. For those who prefer not to take the boat ride, you can spend your time exploring the vibrant craft market at the harbor. Old Cape Point LighthouseAfter exploring the Cape of Good Hope, we’ll take a short 5-minute drive to Cape Point. Here, visitors can either enjoy a brief hike to the Cape Point lighthouse or opt for a ride on the Flying Dutchman Funicular (additional cost at your own expense). The original lighthouse, built in 1860, was decommissioned 40 years later after studies revealed its high altitude made it ineffective during cloudy weather, causing numerous shipwrecks. A new lighthouse was then constructed at a lower elevation for improved visibility.
- As we pass by Fish Hoek Beach, you’ll notice the soft white sand and the warm Indian Ocean waters. It’s one of the best spots around for a swim or to just relax and soak up the sun. (pass by)

Muizenberg BeachAs we head back, if the traffic is clear, we’ll take a little detour to Muizenberg Beach. Here, we’ll stop for a moment so you can snap some photos of the iconic colorful huts – they’re such a fun and vibrant sight! But if traffic isn’t on our side, we’ll skip the stop and instead take the scenic Boyes Drive route along the mountain. It’s a beautiful drive with sweeping views of the coastline and False Bay, offering a completely different but equally stunning perspective. Either way, you’ll get to soak in more of Cape Town’s charm before we wrap up the day!
