Designed by Zurab Tsereteli and constructed in 1985 during the Soviet era, the monument features 16 towering columns—each reaching up to 35 meters high. The upper sections depict famous kings, queens, and national heroes, while the lower panels illustrate scenes from Georgia’s 3,000-year history.
