Chronicles Of GeorgiaWe begin our journey with a visit to the Chronicles of Georgia, located just 25 minutes from the city center. This monumental stone complex is often called the “Georgian Stonehenge” or the “Georgian History Memorial.” Designed by renowned artist Zurab Tsereteli and completed in 1985 during the Soviet era, the monument features 16 towering columns, each soaring up to 35 meters. The upper sections showcase Georgia’s most famous kings, queens, and national heroes, while the lower panels bring to life scenes from the country’s 3,000-year history. From the site, visitors are treated to a stunning panoramic view of Tbilisi Sea, making it the perfect starting point for your exploration of Georgia’s rich history.
