An opportunity to experience authentic Japanese culture with a Japanese tea ceremony master.

Including people who do not know much about Japanese culture or those who just want to enjoy tea and sweets, anyone can enjoy the pleasant time through Japanese tea ceremony. It will be a private and in a small group up to four people.

Even if this is your first time in tea ceremony, please do not worry. Easy to understand but detailed explanation is given by a tea master.

Experiencing tea ceremony in a Tatami room (Japanese-style room) with having tea and sweets and learning how to make tea by yourself will hopefully become one of the experiences that brings more interests in Japanese culture.

1. After your reservation, we will contact you with detail information (address of the place and phone number) as confirmation.

2. On the day of your reservation, please arrive at the place on time. The nearest train station is Ibaraki-shi station (Hankyu Kyoto Line) and it takes about 10-15 minutes by walking from the station.
*If you are late or get lost on the way, please do not hesitate to give a call to the phone number.

3.When you arrive at the place, please contact by calling the phone number and we will come to see you.

4.In the tea ceremony session, first we will introduce how to enter Tatami room (Japanese-style room) and then demonstrate the tea ceremony with Matcha tea and Japanese traditional sweets.

5.After that, we will introduce the Ryurei style (Table style tea ceremony) and how to make matcha. You can enjoy Matcha tea that you make by yourself with the Japanese traditional sweets

*The session takes about 60-90 minutes. Since the place is located between Osaka and Kyoto, you can still enjoy exploring these cities.
