Bastei BridgeThe last point of interest is the Bastei Bridge in Saxon Switzerland, which is the main highlight of the German side of the national park. The Bastei rock formation has plenty of viewpoints over the Elbe canyon on the right bank of the river Elbe. You can easily walk across the famous sandstone bridge, that connects Bastei and visit the ruins of the old medieval Neurathen rock castle from the 12th Century.
