Trevi FountainThe biggest and most famous fountain of Rome. Trevi fountain was built to celebrate the restoration of an ancient roman aqueduct called Acqua Vergine (Vergin Water) which was built in 19BC. Needless to say it is truly worth a visit and don't forget to throw the coin in the right way...right hand over the left shoulder.

Fontana dei Quattro FiumiIn 1651 Gian Lorenzo Bernini built this amazing fountain to support the 16 meters tall egyptian obelisk standing on top of it. The square (Piazza Navona) hides the Stadium of Domitian 5 meters below the ground.

Fontana Delle TartarugheIn the heart of the Jewish Ghetto, there is a small and very beautiful fountain that gave its name to the 4 bronze turtles dangling from the upper level of the fountain.
