They live around Arimatsu, so they surely explain how to tie it and old history etc... In addition, you can actually try this activity. At first you tie the handkerchief with thread. But it's not so difficult. Just you can tie as you like. And you can dye with professional person. After losing the thread, beautiful pattern comes up on the cloth.
