  • Firostefani
The village of Firostefani is located in the northern part of Santorini, between the famous towns of Fira and Imerovigli. Officially, this location is perceived as a separate village. However, the truth is different. It extends the village capital, Santorini's infamous Fira. Since Firostefani is located at the highest point of Fira, the name of this settlement can be translated as the Crown of Fira. In Greek, Stefani means crown. Therefore, it is the Crown of Nature. The village is one of the most stunning locations on the Island, which explains its increased popularity among locals and visitors. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Island and the caldera. Visitors can find accommodations, fine restaurants, bars, and other leisure and relaxation options. Firostefani can meet even the highest standards and needs, as the Island is a famous and ideal destination for world celebrities.
  • Imerovigli
Visit Imerovigli, which has the most stunning views of all the caldera and all the hidden spots with a native guide. The village of Imerovigli, also known as the " balcony to the Aegean sea, "is built on the highest point of the Caldera rocks, about 300 meters above sea level. It is located in the island's Northern part, two kilometers from the capital of Fira. Its location provides a magnificent view of the famous volcano, the sparkling Aegean Sea, and the sunset, which is out of this world.
  • Oia
Oia village is one of the most popular and visited places in Santorini. Oia is a small town and former community in the South of the Aegean Sea, on the Islands of Thera and Thirasia, in the Cyclades, Greece. It covers the entire island of Thirasia and the northwestern part of Santorini, which it shares with the municipal unit of Santorini. Oia is known for its breathtaking sunsets, but its sunrise is also magical. There are two types of dwellings: cave houses dug out of the volcanic rock on the Caldera rocks and captain houses.
  • Monastery of Profitis Ilias
Monastery Prophet Ilias is located at the top of the highest mountain on the island (587 meters above sea level). Dating back to 1711, this place is of great historical interest and is helpful in terms of stunning views that can not be described.
  • Castelli of Pyrgos
The traditional village of Pyrgos, the highest settlement in Santorini, features the atmospheric Castle of Pyrgos. Built around 1580, this is probably the last of the island's five fortified settlements. Its strategic location offers unique views of vast plains and the sparkling Aegean Sea.
  • Megalochori - Traditional Village
It is an authentic village that has kept its character and atmosphere untouched, as well as its Cycladic architecture, with whitewashed houses, blue domes, and winding cobbled streets waiting to be discovered. Wandering along the cobbled paths, you can admire neoclassical and ancient cave houses with solid wooden doors and high fences. The square is the heart of the village and a meeting point for locals and tourists. Here, you can taste local food and sweets or enjoy a cup of Greek coffee in the shade of the trees.
  • Red Beach
Red Beach is located in the southeastern part of the island near the archaeological site of Akrotiri, 14 km from Fira, and is easily accessible by car or bus. At the end of the road is a parking lot next to the picturesque chapel of Agios Nikolas (St. Nicholas). The short hike to the beach over the rocks from the parking lot is tricky. If you want to avoid the walk and go up to Red Beach, you can take a short boat trip from Akrotiri, Kamari, or Perissa. A swim on Red Beach can be combined with a visit to the Akrotiri archaeological site. Although Red Beach is not one of the best beaches in Greece, it is worth the challenge of walking. You can swim, admire the dramatic backdrop of the volcanic rock above you, and take some great photos. Access is a bit tricky and probably unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Some signs say the beach is dangerous due to falling rocks, so you should stay on the beach at your own risk.
  • Akrotiri Archaeological Site
Akrotiri is well known for its famous prehistoric settlement from the Minoan period; the current village is not as renowned. However, it is a picturesque traditional village built around a medieval castle on the southwest edge of Santorini, near the famous Red Beach and about 15 kilometers from Fira. In addition to being home to one of the most important archaeological sites in the Aegean, it has some of the best views on the island. The peninsula is world-famous for its prehistoric settlement, discovered in 1967. It is also known as Pompeii of the Aegean because it was completely covered in volcanic ash after the 1620 BC volcanic eruption. The entire prehistoric town is well-preserved and is one of the main attractions of Santorini. At the top of the village, there is an old fortress.
  • Emporio
Emporio village is in the southern part of Santorini. It is approximately 10 km from Fira, the Chora of Santorini, and 12 km from Santorini Airport. The village is also just 4 km from the famous black beach of Perissa. Emporio feels like it is in the lowlands, at the foot of the mountain, with views of a valley village complete with vineyards. The name Emporio (Niborios), which means "trade" in Greek, is the first indication of this village's importance to Santorini's economy in medieval times. Emporio is a castle village with one of the best preserved and most unique medieval castle towns.
  • Perissa Black Sand Beach
Perissa is a gorgeous beach covered in black volcanic sand, great for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling. It is located on the southeast coast of Santorini and is extended at the base of the massive Mesa Vouno promontory, suddenly emerging into the sea. At the top of the mountain is the ancient city of Thira. Perissa is one of the island's most cosmopolitan beaches, stretching for miles. Perivolos Beach joins it, a more than 7-kilometer beach. The water is obvious, easy to lean in, and beautiful. The coarse black sand is walking-friendly and shines like glitter. However, summer can be very hot.
