La Huaca del SolHuaca de la Luna Our first stop will be in Huaca de la Luna, former capital of Moche culture and has been restored since 1991 The complex is composed of two temples (Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna) of which only Huaca de la Luna is visited. During our visit we will tour Huaca de la Luna which is the only one that has been restored, during the tour we will visit its ceremonial square, main altar, decorated courtyards. Many of these sectors are decorated with beautiful reliefs painted with representations of their gods and rites.
