In 2011 it was named a Magical Town thanks to its history and its magic inherited from the native peoples of the region, as well as for its diverse tourist attractions.

The Garden houses 5 botanical collections: the Semi-desert, Cacti of Querétaro, Vegetation of the Valley of Querétaro, The Mammillaria genus in Mexico and Agaves of Querétaro. This place, recognized for the number of endangered species it artificially reproduces, reminds us, as a family, of the need to take care of our environment. There is also a wilderness area and a pair of viewing points at the base of a volcanic rock cliff of about 50 m in height which frames the area of the scientific collection.
