Zona Arqueologica De CobaThe guide will give you a tour of the archaeological zone of Coba, one of the most important sites of the Mayan civilization in the region of Quintana Roo. During the visit, you will explore the vast area of the site, where numerous structures are located, but certainly one of the most impressive points is the Pyramid of Nohoch Mul, the highest pyramid of the Yucatan peninsula, with more than 42 meters high. You will also see other fascinating structures, such as temples, ceremonial squares and the system of Mayan roads called sacbeob, which connected Coba with other major cities in the region. At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time to explore on your own, admire the pyramids and capture the beauty of the place with your cameras.
