Experience the original and traditional way of making olive oil in Crete, just like our ancestors did. This is a fully hands-on workshop at the 130-year-old olive oil factory of Spiridi Olive Oil Farm. You will weigh olives. Crush them using a stone mill by pushing it yourself. Transfer the crushed olives into large sacks. Press the olive paste into oil using a manual wooden press. Our family will guide you through every step. At the end of the workshop, we will offer you a 100ml bottle of our family’s extra virgin handmade olive oil as a souvenir.
