Overview
Mountain clothing is necessary for this activity, and rental options are available if you do not have the appropriate attire. The hike begins at the trail's parking lot, leading us deep into the forest.
- 🗺️ The trail takes us close to a beaver dam and crosses the valley until reaching a peat bog.
- 🌊 Following the Esmeralda river, we will hike to its source in the Esmeralda lagoon.
- ❄️ The lagoon is frozen in winter and showcases stunning colors during summer.
- 🍽️ Lunch by the lagoon offers breathtaking views of the Albino glacier, weather permitting.
- 🚶♂️ After our visit, we will return via the same trail to the transfer back to your hotel.
