Velez-MalagaDiscover the tropical side of Málaga! Did you know that La Axarquía is Europe’s leading region for tropical fruit production? We’ve created a fun and original experience that will turn you into a tropical fruit expert for a day! We’ll start with a relaxing drive along the coast, enjoying breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Around 10:30 a.m., we’ll arrive at a beautiful mango and avocado farm overlooking the sea. For about two hours, you’ll learn all about how these fruits are grown in the region — from the planting phase to distribution across Europe — and how they make their way to your table. Of course, we won’t leave without tasting them! We’ll enjoy a fresh and healthy picnic featuring seasonal tropical fruits like juicy mangoes, creamy avocados, and other local treats, surrounded by an exotic landscape and stunning sea views. Please note: mango season runs from September to late November, and avocados are harvested from November to April, so offerings may vary.

Velez-MalagaTo round off the day, we’ll visit TROPS, the largest mango and avocado cooperative in Europe. You'll tour their facilities and explore their shop, full of local gourmet products — perfect for taking a taste of Málaga home with you. At the end of the experience, we’ll drive you back to your accommodation.
