Mitzpe Ramon Visitors CenterMost of our tours begin here but should you prefer a pick up from your hotel or guest house that is also fine. After picking up we will stop at the top of the pass that decends down in to and around the Ramon Machtesh

Ramon CraterOur next stop is in the Ramon river bed, a normaly dry watercourse where we will explain all about the geology of this amazing errosive cavity and why it is not a "crater".

Ramon CraterA good guide gauges his clients as he goes and also takes the prevailing weather conditions in to account, our next stop (especially on a hot day) could be in the shade of a big Accacia tree or at a Neolitic (stoneage) archaelogical site.
