- After pickup, we’ll begin the tour at Copacabana Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the world. (pass by)
- Tijuca Forest is a tropical rainforest in the city of Rio de Janeiro, covering an area of approximately 32 km². The tour will enter Tijuca Forest and stop at Paineiras, where you’ll board official National Park vehicles to reach the summit of Corcovado, home to the Christ the Redeemer statue. (pass by)
-
Santuario Cristo RedentorFrom the top of Corcovado Mountain, you can admire the 38-meter-tall Christ the Redeemer statue, made of reinforced concrete and covered in a mosaic of thousands of triangular soapstone tiles. You’ll also enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the city.
-
Mirante Dona MartaIf visibility at the top of Corcovado is poor, we’ll make an alternative stop at Dona Marta Lookout, which offers one of the city’s most spectacular views and is one of Rio de Janeiro’s most visited attractions. From there, you can see Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, Maracanã Stadium, Guanabara Bay, and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.
-
Sugarloaf MountainYou’ll reach the summit in two cable car rides. The first takes you to Urca Hill, 220 meters above sea level, where you’ll already enjoy wonderful views of Guanabara Bay. After taking in the scenery, the second cable car will take you to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, 396 meters above sea level. From there, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro and see why it’s known as “The Marvelous City.”
- Ipanema is a neighborhood in Rio’s South Zone, between Leblon and Arpoador. Ipanema Beach became internationally famous thanks to the bossa nova and jazz song “The Girl from Ipanema,” written by Antônio Carlos Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes. (pass by)
- Separated from its more famous neighboring district, Ipanema, by a narrow canal, Leblon is one of Rio’s most exclusive neighborhoods—and accommodations here come at a premium. (pass by)
