Overview
Whether you are certified divers or beginner divers make your Maui scuba diving experience special and memorable with a Private Dive for 2 in Lahaina. This activity includes one scuba dive for two people. Your private PADI instructor will focus on your needs and tailor your dive to your comfort and experience levels. Basic swimming ability is required. This experience is perfect for brand-new divers who are looking for that extra level of attention, or for experienced divers looking to escape the crowds. You will use excellent dive equipment, move at your own pace, and receive the added benefit of undivided attention from your guide. Enjoy a boutique dive experience, free from crowded tours, in your own private group. PLEASE NOTE: NOVICE SWIMMING ABILITY IS REQUIRED.

Meeting point
We meet our guests each morning at 8:30 at Kahekili Beach Park in Ka’anapali. Once you turn onto Kai Ala Drive, follow the short road straight down to the water where you will see a big parking lot. Private transportation is not included. Please inform ahead of time us if you will not have a car.

PLEASE READ: Your instructor will greet you with the appropriate paperwork. If you are new to scuba diving, you must fill out a medical form and be able to answer "NO" to each of the questions. Contact Banyan Tree Divers for a copy of this form if you have any medical conditions that might impair your ability to dive so that you can review it ahead of time, and secure a doctor clearance if necessary. Certified divers will sign a PADI liability release.
After your dive safety briefing, you will head to the water. New divers will enjoy a short skill practice in shallow water to get comfortable with the breathing and use of dive equipment before continuing for an exciting dive.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST WAIT AT LEAST 18 HOURS TO FLY, ZIPLINE, OR ASCEND TO HALEAKALA AFTER SCUBA DIVING.
You will complete a medical form prior to your dive. You must be able to answer "NO" to each one of the questions on the form. A "YES" ON THE MEDICAL STATEMENT WILL REQUIRE A DOCTOR CLEARANCE TO DIVE. FAILURE TO RECEIVE A DOCTOR CLEARANCE WHEN NEEDED WILL FORFEIT YOUR DIVE AND PAYMENT FOR IT.
