Tirta Empul TempleTirta Empul Temple is beautiful temple complex and holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site serves as a legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil, its also a national cultural heritage site. Home to over 400 long tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) which are divided into 4 groups that occupy different areas of the park, it is an important cultural and spiritual site that welcomes upwards of 10,000 visitors each month. The Monkey Forest Sanctuary is actually owned and operated by the village of Padangtegal, with village members serving on a governing council that seeks to uphold the integrity of the grounds while promoting it as a tourist destination.

Tanah LotTanah Lot Temple is an ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves, the temple is simply among Bali not to be missed icons. The onshore site is dotted with smaller shrines alongside visitors leisure facilities that comprise restaurants, shops and a cultural park presenting regular dance performances. The temple is located in the Beraban village of the Tabanan regency, an approximate 20km northwest of Kuta and is included on most tours to Bali western and central regions.
