Overview
Rafting with us is unique, due to the beautiful surroundings and the unique place in Uganda. Rafting in Uganda was always thought to only be possible on the Nile. Other than on the Nile, the rapids on this river are almost continuous, and therefore we aim to stay in the inflatable raft and still have lots of fun and adrenaline. This hidden gem is located in between the highlights of Uganda (Gorilla's, safari parks, crater lakes, Chimp trekking etc.) and therefore perfect to combine with other activities in an itinerary. Our team is professional, very friendly and has international rafting experience and certificates. All safety gear is included in the price, and we will provide a safety briefing at the start. All photos, lunch, a snack and a drink at the end are also included. We will even take you for a short surprise at the side of the river, prepared by the local community. Meeting point
We meet our clients in Rukungiri, at the base. Our guide will be waiting for you at the entrance of the lodge, where there is a rafting signpost at the entrance. From here, we arrange transport to and from the river, unless you prefer to follow our car with your own.

We meet our clients in Rukungiri, at the base. Our guide will be waiting for you at the entrance of the lodge, where there is a rafting signpost at the entrance. From here, we arrange transport to and from the river, unless you prefer to follow our car with your own.
Rafting and kayaking through the beautiful thick Jungle of West Uganda, on river Birira. You will be on the water for about 4 hours, covering 25km of class II-IV+ rapids in between many tropical birds and other wildlife. This rafting thrip is something you will never forget!
This booking is for the full river trip. We meet in Rukungiri, driving to and from the river takes about 45 minutes each way, we will give you a safety briefing of about 20 minutes before going on the water and we will have a 20–30-minute lunch break on the water and will drop you in Rukungiri again around after the experience, to continue to your next destination or to stay and enjoy your celebration drink! We take families as well, on a calmer section of the river, but just as beautiful!
