National Gallery of IrelandNext, we’ll pop into the National Gallery to learn about Irish history through some fascinating works of art: the Marriage of Strongbow and Aoife which signalled the end of the old Gaelic order in Ireland; beautiful stained glass windows and a hugely symbolic painting about the Irish Civil War.

We’ll amble through the charming areas of Grafton st and George’s St. Arcade. Here we will pay a visit to a local Irish jeweller - see him working on a piece (maybe have a go yourself!) and learn about the Ireland-inspired necklaces, rings etc. A great opportunity to obtain an authentic gift from Ireland.
