Overview
The Tierra Mayor Valley and the Alvear Icefall offer stunning natural beauty and an adventurous experience. Departing from the hotel, the journey begins with sleds pulled by Huskies across the snow-covered valley.
- 🐾 After crossing the valley, enter the forest via an old lumberjack path leading to the refuge del Hachero, a small log cabin heated by firewood.
- ❄️ Upon arrival, guests receive assistance to put on snowshoes, necessary for walking in thick snow that typically reaches a meter.
- 🍫 A hot chocolate is provided at the refuge to help recover energy before heading back.
