Overview
Valley of Fire State Park is a land of crimson, Aztec sandstone, ancient rock art and mystery. Venture into Nevada’s first and largest state park with a local Adventure Guide to explore a landscape sculpted by shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago.
You’ll ride in the comfort of a luxury Tour Trekker through the Mohave Desert, learning about its geology, ecology and history while en route. Upon entering the Park, giant rock formations, maze-like canyons and animal-shaped peaks transport you to another world.
See world-famous sandstone sculptures—Elephant Rock, Seven Sisters and the White Domes—and iconic landscapes from Hollywood films. Atlatl RockStop off at Atlatl Rock where, thousands of years ago, indigenous people created mysterious artwork that is still visible today. Walk up the staircase to get an up close look of these ancient petroglyphs.

White Domes TrailTravel to White Domes Trailhead where you'll see people hiking in the park! Your guide will determine whether or not to eat lunch at White Domes or at the Cabins.

Elephant RockSee the famous rock formation that looks like an elephant - Elephant Rock. Walk up on the rocks to grab a photo of this amazing formation. After stopping off at Elephant Rock, make your way to the Cabins inside the Park to see the old structures.
