This walk takes you through the narrow alleys of Varanasi, to the heart of the old city and gives you an opportunity to acclimatize with the culture and understand how people live here for thousands of year. Visit a temple, an ashram and a private residence and interact with the family living there. After the walking tour, take a private boat ride in the evening on the Ganges river.

Experience Varanasi - Private Guided Tours05:00 pm-07:00 pm: Evening boat ride by the sunset after the walking tour, watch the cremation and finally enjoy the Ganga Aarti ceremony from your private boat. The Ganges is worshipped as a living goddess, in Varanasi and daily prayers at dawn and dusk serve as salutations to the river. Oil lamps are offered and bells rung while sacred mantras are chanted. Five to seven priests offer prayers to Ganges in a spectacular and very well-orchestrated event which lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Tour ends.
