As the largest and most residential sestiere, Castello is less touristy than other areas, allowing local flavors to shine in family-run trattorias and hidden bars. The blend of historic charm, peaceful canals, and genuine local fare makes eating in Castello feel like discovering a delicious secret tucked away from the crowds.
