Each award-winning winery you'll visit will give you the chance to meet the individuals behind the wine-making and have all your questions answered on this brilliant small group excursion. While driving through the Troodos hills we'll also stop for a delicious lunch and the beautiful monastery of Chrysoroyiatissa.

You'll tour the premises of at least two of the wineries to learn about the process and history of wine. Chrysorrogiatissa MonasteryThis scenic monastery is dedicated to 'Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate' and was founded in 1152 by monk Ignatios who found a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary off the shore of Pafos. Legend has it that it was thrown into the sea in Asia Minor during the iconoclastic period and drifted by the waves to Pafos. The present building dates to 1770.
