It is the room near the top of the Great Pyramid is known as the King’s Chamber. Within the chamber lies a red granite sarcophagus. you can lie inside it for moments. During ascending to the King’s chamber you will visit the grand gallery is passage access to the royal burial chambers. This passage is also called the mysterious passage.

When you enter the chamber you will see the modern barrier that is against the east wall of the chamber. Around the back, on the south wall, is a grating covering another small passageway that leads to a dead end. The entire chamber has been carved out of the very bedrock that the pyramid rests upon.
