Narikala FortressBesides its historical importance, Narinkala fortress is located on the highest point in the old town, from where one can enjoy incredibly beautiful views of Tbilisi. Its history goes back to VI century A.D. but has long and troublesome history afterwards, including lots of destructions. Interestingly, the fortress has many names.
