Overview

Our guide will help you discover little-known aspects of the history of Lévis during both the French colony and the English colony. The social changes of the Canadian period are also visible in Old Lévis.
These transformations can be observed in the history of Desjardins Group, which you can discover in two ways. From Tuesday to Thursday, we visit the exhibition POP-SAC-À-VIE… in the footsteps of a movement inside the Desjardins Building. From Friday to Monday, we visit Maison Alphonse-Desjardins, where the first Caisse Populaire was founded.
Our guides are bilingual and we offer a tasting included with the visit every day of the visit. This tasting takes place at Bistro le 41- Saucisserie in Old Lévis.

Departures take place in front of the Chevalier-de-Lévis statue located in the middle of the park of the same name in Lévis.

The tour ends at the Notre-Dame de Lévis church located about 1 km from the starting point.

Avenue Bégin is the center of Old Lévis where you will discover the architecture and history of Lévis. A stop is planned in one or two local businesses.

We also pass on rue Saint-Louis to discover the community side of Lévis.

A visit inside the church is scheduled on Sundays when the church is open to the public. On other days, admission is possible when the visit is booked in advance.

Stop at the Boutique du Quartier at the corner of Cote du Passage and rue Saint-Louis in Old Lévis. In this place, we offer a tasting of bites of local products with a non-alcoholic beverage. In addition, other local businesses offer their products, including a jewelry store made in Quebec.
