  • Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires
    The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, MALBA, was founded in September 2001 with the objective of collecting, preserving, studying and disseminating Latin American art from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. It is a private non-profit institution that preserves and exhibits a heritage of approximately 400 works by the main modern and contemporary artists of the region.     Fall in love with the Floralis Generica, an imposing 20 meters high sculpture that dominates the United Nations Square in the Recoleta neighborhood. Donated to the City of Buenos Aires by its author the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano, it is made of stainless steel and aluminum and weighs 18 tons. It was the first sculpture in movement controlled by a hydraulic system and photoelectric cells. Its name, "Floralis Generica", is a tribute to all flowers. It is about the projection of a dream of its creator, that of building a structure on a large scale that reflects the dynamism of our time.

    The vault where the body of Eva Perón is located is the place most frequented by tourists in the Buenos Aires Recoleta cemetery. The tombs, which are 200 meters to the left of the main entrance gate to the cemetery, belong to the Duarte family. Eva Perón's is five meters underground in the second basement. The remains of María Eva Duarte de Perón arrived at this place in the 70s when they were repatriated from Spain.
