See the highlights of Warsaw during a 4 hours tour - with me, by car and walking.
Warsaw is a green and clean town, so you will be taken to Lazienki Park (18th century) where you can stroll and admire palaces and pavilions hidden in thick greenery. Drive along Royal Route, almost completely rebuilt after WWII in its previous historical design. Walk in Warsaw Old Town, also rebuilt to its previous style, and put on the UNESCO cultural heritage list as the only place not original but reconstructed. See the house where Madame Curie was born, and where Chopin lived. We will also visit what was once the ghetto area.
With me you will see great contrasts of pre-war Warsaw, districts kept in socialistic-realistic style and recently constructed modern downtown called sometimes Warsaw Manhattan. And what about Warsaw Prague? This is how we call part of Warsaw on the right bank of the Vistula river, where the famous film "The Pianist" by Polanski was made.

Warsaw Barbican (Barbakan Warszawski)It is 16thc. defence gate, completed with draw bridge, leading to medieval town. Now it is the place with watercolours offered by artists and small stylish figures sculptured by artists waiting for clients.

Lazienki Krolewskie w WarszawieDepending on how much time you have, we can stroll along the biggest park located once in the suburbs of town, now in the centre, to stop near Chopin's monument, where in summer on Sundays piano recital are organized, then to see summer residence of the last king, so called Palace on Water, amphitheatre still sometimes used, then drive along Royal Route to the Old Town.

Warsaw GhettoYou see the place where almost half a milion of Jews were forced to live in pointed district surrounded with wall. It is marked now with Rappaport monument dedicated to heroes of Warsaw ghetto, memorial stones bearing the names of people who contributed to survival of Jews or died fighting, like Anielewicz, leader of uprising in Warsaw ghetto.
