Start your day at Marina Punta Sam, where check-in begins at 7:15 AM. After boarding, you'll receive a box lunch before the boat departs promptly at 7:50 AM for an exciting search across the crystal-clear waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

Accompanied by an experienced crew you'll travel to the whale shark feeding area in search of these incredible gentle giants. As whale sharks are wild animals living in their natural habitat, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure the protection of the species, all encounters follow official environmental regulations. If fewer than 5 whale sharks are found, guests will enjoy whale shark sightseeing from the comfort of the boat. When 5 or more whale sharks are present and conditions are favorable, participants will enter the water in pairs alongside a certified guide. Each pair takes turns, allowing everyone the opportunity to swim with the whale sharks. Depending on sea conditions, guests may have up to three swimming opportunities during the excursion.

Whale sharks can swim at speeds of approximately 5 km/h (3 mph), so participants should be confident swimmers and comfortable in open-water conditions.
