AltaAfter pick up, our guide will take you to our office to inform you about the plans for the day and a little bit about local history and why the whales migrate into the Altafjord. Here you will also have the chance to borrow some warm outdoor clothes. You can leave your personal belongings at the office.

According to where the whales are, we will start the boat tour from one of the harbours in the Altafjord. While driving by the Altafjord, our guide will tell you more about the history of this area. Also the guide will inform about the wildlife, and the types of whales we might see on the tour. You will embarque in an exciting boat tour in the Altafjord searching for wildlife and whales. We will sail for approximatelly 3 hours enjoying the fantastic fjord landscape, and hopefully find whales to observe and photograph.

AltaAfter this adventure, we will drive back to our office for clothes changing and then we will take you to the same place we picked you up. The entire tour is estimated to take approx. 4,5 hours, including the transportation from your pickup place to the Altafjord and back.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
