GaropabaDuring the experience, besides finding the whales, we’ll also explore the history of the old whaling stations and may even spot a traditional Canoa Baleeira — once used for whale hunting and now part of artisanal fishing traditions. This canoe can be found in Garopaba, Laguna, or Imbituba, depending on where the whales are.

LagunaWe’ll also uncover stories of the Indigenous Peoples of our region, possibly observing ancient Sambaqui burial sites and even the largest Indigenous artifact still in use today — the Canoa de um Pau Só (dugout canoe). These sightings may also occur in Laguna, Imbituba, or Garopaba, depending on where the whales are.
