We meet at Lake Cuyamaca and caravan to a private art studio located in the off-grid community of Cuyamaca Woods, just 10 mi outside of Julian, CA. only 5 min. from the Lake. The site boasts views from North Peak to the Pacific Ocean.

We meet at Lake Cuyamaca and caravan to a private art studio located in the off-grid community of Cuyamaca Woods, just 10 mi outside of Julian, CA. only 5 min. from the Lake. The site boasts views from North Peak to the Pacific Ocean.

Participants will make and design a small earthenware pottery vessel. You will learn about identifying clay in the wild, and how to process harvested clay and be sent home with instructions for firing your pot in an open fire on your own.
