For this first stop in front the Ecole des Mines, we'll do a quick introduction of the tour, and a little catchup in history so that everyone is up to speed!

Luxembourg GardensFor the first stop of the tour, we'll talk about the Fall of Paris. Right in front of a very important building for the French Republic, I'll try to give you a good sense of how the French army lost the war so quickly in 1940.
- From the Luxembourg garden, we'll peak at the Pantheon, where characters linked to the War are buried! (pass by)

In our third actual stop, we'll talk extensively about the Parisian resistance, and especially the beginnings of the resistance. We will follow the journey of a French femal resistance fighter.

La SorbonneI will show you some signs of the war that still exist on the most famous french university: The Sorbonne!

Cathedrale Notre-Dame de ParisFor our final stop, we will talk about the Liberation of Paris. I will tell you about the fights that took place to liberate the city, and how close Paris came to destruction.
