River Cruise Collection: Worms Cathedral and Luther Monument
Overview
This whistle-stop tour of Worms dedicates a couple of hours to the German city’s two main landmarks. Balanced on the edge of the Rhine, Worms’ pair of must-see attractions are Worms Cathedral and the Luther Monument. Your trip starts with a 15-minute bus journey from the port to Worms Cathedral. Built back in the 12th century, you'll take an hour-long guided tour around the Romanesque sandstone building with its multiple turrets and ornate stained-glass windows. Then, you’ll pop by the Luther Monument, a religious collection of statues that commemorates the Protestant reformer Martin Luther, before you head back to the ship.
