Hear interesting facts about the "El Castillo"- A-6, that stands approximately 130 feet tall, burials that revealed many sacred artifacts, and the famous Friezes and their interpretations will be shared. The view atop A-6 reveals a panoramic view of the area, overlooking the bordering department of Melchor de Menchos, Guatemala, and the canopy of the highland broadleaf forest for miles in the distance. Consider Xunantunich one of the more significant evidence to nobility during the Mesoamerican chronology. The adventure winds down with lunch at a local restaurant, where local food and drinks are served. Return journey begins immediately to end the day.
