We are new on this website.But we have conducted many Yanaka tours, with many good reviews received from our customers who had enjoyed themselves.This walking tour is based on a relaxing pace so you can get a closer look at the real Japanese lifestyle and culture.It is suitable for most people with moderate fitness.You will stroll through Tokyo old local neighborhoods~Yanaka,Nezu and Sendagi.Discover old temples and shrines,buildings from the bygone era from the Meiji Period to the Taishō period and Showa period.
•Usually this tour takes around 3 hours 30 minutes.But sometimes the tour may end earlier or later.So everyone can enjoy their experience strolling in this charming neighborhood with flexibility

- Your local guide will introduce you to all the various drinks available in the vending machine that are mainly sold only in Japan. We include one drink per person for tours from May to October 2025 .
- We only provide one bottled drink, other food and drinks are not included
Meeting point
Meet at Nippori Station . Please go to North Gate , West Exit (for Yanaka) , once you go out the exit our tour guide will wait for you at the rest area (with baggage storage coin lockers)

Nezu ShrineThis is one of the oldest place of worship in Tokyo with its’ picturesque Torii-lined pathway. Get to know the indigenous religion of Japanese . Learn how to pray in a shrine , write your wish and get your fortune telling here .

Tennoji TempleThis is one of the oldest of the numerous temples in Yanaka area with its’ large, bronze, seated image of Buddha . Appreciate the calm moment in this spiritual old temple . Enjoy the beautiful garden view surrounding the temple complex .

Ueno Sakuragi AtariSee the remains of the Showa-period (1926–1989) houses . These houses have been turned into shops now . You may try the local Yanaka beer (at your own expenses) . Please note that Yanaka beer hall and some shops may be closed during your time of visit . Ueno Sakuragi Atari is closed on Monday or sometimes on Tuesday , if the area is closed you can only take photos outside the gate .
- This is a local residential area known as “Snake Street” in Japanese . Our tour guide who lives nearby this neighborhood will bring you for a stroll where you can see local old and new houses and shops and get to know more about the local Japanese lifestyle . (pass by)

Yanaka CemeteryThis is one of the largest and most scenic cemetery in Tokyo . Many important figures are buried there .

Yanaka Ginza Shopping StreetThis is an old shopping street . You can try the local street foods and Japanese desserts here . Get some Japanese souvenirs here . The shops here have different operating days and hours so some shops may be closed during your time of visit . Many shops are closed on Monday .

Yuyake DandanKnown as “sunset staircase” in Japanese. You can see beautiful sunset and Yanaka Ginza street view from this staircase .This is a photo stop spot where you should not miss when you come to Yanaka Ginza
