- De Wallen is the oldest part of Amsterdam's city centre. The neighbourhood is chock-full of interesting shops, pubs, fantastic restaurants, leaning gabled houses and, of course, the area known as the "red light district". Zeedijk (English: "Sea dike") is a street in the old centre of Amsterdam. The street is the northern and eastern boundary of De Wallen red-light district and runs between Prins Hendrikkade and Nieuwmarkt. Historically an area riddled with crime and drug addicts, the area went through a revitalization and is now the main street of Amsterdam's Chinatown, where locals come to eat at Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese restaurants.[1] The Zeedijk neighbourhood is also known as the Nautical Quarter (Dutch: Nautisch Kwartier) because of its past as a sailor's neighbourhood. Nieuwmarkt (Dutch for "New Market" or "Newmarket") is a square in the centre of Amsterdam, Netherlands. The surrounding area is known as the Lastage neighborhood. It is situated in the borough of Amsterdam-Centrum. Oude Kerk, one of the city’s oldest churches, is an eye-catching landmark with its stained glass windows, vaulted roof and gothic spires. Zeedijk, one of the oldest streets in Amsterdam, runs through De Wallen and makes up the main thoroughfare of the city’s Chinatown, complete with an array of tasty restaurants and an impressive Buddhist temple. Our Lord in the Attic Museum is a carefully preserved 17th-century house with an entire church hidden on its top three floors. This ancient church was built as a place where Catholics could worship freely beyond the watch of the Dutch Reformed Church. Oudezijds Armsteeg is home to a picture-perfect row of six beautifully restored Delft Blue houses. (pass by)

- The Bloemenmarkt was the world's only floating flower market.[1] Founded in 1862, it is sited in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on the Singel River between Muntplein and Koningsplein in the city's southern canal belt.[2] It has 15 souvenir and gift shops, with only a few still selling fresh flowers. Today, the market is one of the main suppliers of dried tulip bulbs and tulip paraphernalia to tourists visiting Amsterdam. (pass by)
- The Herengracht is the second of four Amsterdam canals belonging to the canal belt and lies between the Singel and the Keizersgracht. The Gouden Bocht (Golden Bend) in particular is known for its large and beautiful canal houses. (pass by)
