Operating since 1880, this is an important transport link to the lower plains. The train makes a loop at Batasia, from where you can get unparalleled views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the town of Darjeeling. The Darjeeling Toy Train has been accorded a UNESCO World Heritage status.
