Hadrian's GateHadrian’s Gate is an Ancient Roman monument in Antalya built in honor of the Emperor Hadrian. Hadrian was one of the most famous and important Roman Emperors and ruled from 117 – 138 AD. He famously travelled far and wide across his empire and spent far more time in the provinces than most of his predecessors. Comprised of three arches, Hadrian’s Gate probably dates back to around 130AD, when the emperor himself visited Antalya.

Safe and peaceful, it has everything that a city can offer to its visitors and there is no fee for visiting. The place welcomes you in its small cozy world where you will see splendid yachts and fishing boats side by side. Fishermen can be seen flaunting and selling their catch of the day. You can even grab a cup of steaming tea or coffee from the surrounding small cafes and sip while taking in the beautiful scenery.
