Overview
If you are in Krakow for a few days and above all, you would like to make the most of this time, this tour is perfect for you. The day tour begins with a pickup service from your hotel. After a 1,5-hour drive, you will begin by visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. The local guide will lead you through 2 camps and tell you the history of this terrible place. The schedule includes visiting Auschwitz I, with its crematoria and gas chambers, and Birkenau, the largest extermination camp.
Afterward, you will go to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka. Meet your guide at the entrance of the mine - look for a man in authentic miner uniform. Go down 350 steps and discover the amazing underground city carved in salt. Admire the beautiful salt formations and marvel at the structure of the chapel of St. Kinga. Pass underground lakes and narrow corridors and take a mining elevator to go back to the surface. After the tour, you will head back to Krakow.
