Hassan TowerThe Hassan Tower in Rabat is an unfinished minaret dating from the 12th century, intended by Sultan Yacoub al-Mansour to be the largest mosque in the world. Standing 44 metres tall, although it was intended to be 80 metres, the tower is built of red stone and overlooks the city and the Bouregreg River.
