- This ride takes you through some fascinating Chagga villages rich in banana & coffee farms. You will see how the local people can manage their small piece of land to produce food for their families all year round through mixed farming. Tour Summary: Duration: 5 – 7 hrs Difficulty: Moderate Path: Tarmac and dirt Road Total Distance: 39km Highlights: Cycle through Chagga villages, coffee & banana fields, and experience the ways of life of the Chagga people. Itinerary Your ride today starts off at Moshi town proceeding towards Moshi’s Shanty Town area on relatively flat terrain. You will then head north on a gradual climb towards Kibosho village which gets steeper towards the end of the road. You then follow a dirt road towards Lyamungo village and finally descend south past banana, corn and coffee fields towards Moshi town where your ride ends. Included – Mountain Bikes – English Speaking guide – Lunch – Bottled Mineral Water – All village, government fees, and taxes – Helmets (pass by)
